Wet Dog-this will make you laugh

So I am taking a shower in my stand up shower stall.  As I am washing my hair in jumps my dog. She comes in, looks at the shower head as if to say "Why is it raining in here?" Now comes the problem she is soaking wet so I can't just make her leave because I know that she will going jump in my bed all wet.  So she ended up showering with me until I was done. Hope this doesn't become a daily thing with her. She is going to be one of the cleanest dogs ever!

before Solo left to go home with Lori, I taught him to "hop in the tub" since gsd's are a bit large to lift.  He got to where he LIKES a bath so much that he would go in and hop in the tub all the time.  So, fast forward to the new home, and he's still doing it.  Only NOW, Lori has to CRATE him when she showers, or he jumps in to shower WITH her!

What a funny pup. Mine LOVE water, as in lakes, but showers are pure evil!

My youngest Border Collie hops into the shower with me if I leave the door open. About a year ago she had a bad run-in with the runs, and it was so bad that I kept having to bring her in and put her straight in the tub for a rinse-off. After that day, any time she sees a bathtub with a shower curtain even cracked an inch, in she goes. [sm=rofl.gif] We were farm-sitting for a friend and her shower curtain was open... in she went. It doesn't appear to matter WHOSE shower it is. *sighs*

When Loki was little, we used to give him lots of baths so he wouldn't be scared of them. And we'd always bring him in the bathroom when we were showering, so he wouldn't get in trouble. Now whenever we get in the shower, he runs in the bathroom and sticks his head in the shower to get a drink. A few times he has voluntarily jumped in the tub for a bath. Never met an Elkhound who liked the water so much.

How cute!!!!  Your story reminds me of a few years ago when our main shower was a tub with a shower curtain.  One of our cats is the type that jumps at anything that moves.  Well, I was showering one morning and everytime I thumped the shower curtain, Ariel would pounce up from the other side.  We did this for several months until....

We were ;playing our usual game - I was showering and thumping the shower curtain every minute or so, and she was leaping up on the shower curtain to attack the movement .  Well, Ariel was in one of her really wild "cat-on-crack" moods.  You know, when a cat acts insane and runs around the house and springs straight up in the air for no apparent reason.  Well, Ariel pounced at the shower curtain, but she did it at the edge where the shower head was.  Imagine her surprise (and mine) when she missed the shower curtain and slid over and into the tub with the shower running.  She looked like a cartoon character in that she couldn't get any traction to get out of the tub.  She was "running" as hard as she could, but she remained under the shower spray.  I couldn't help her because I was laughing too hard.  After she was completely soaked, she finally got enough traction to jump out.  I tracked her down by following the wet footprints.  When I found her, she looked pounds lighter, and she was licking herself feverishly (that's "drying" in the cat world).  She never wanted to play that game again.  I wonder why.......

Such cute shower stories.  Roscoe stands in the doorway and looks worried when I shower/bathe, but Scout (the cat) is content to jump right on the tub rim and watch.  Sometimes I sprinkle her with water and she looks at me with an annoyed "Hey! Don't do that!" look, but she doesn't leave. [:D]
