Looks like some herding breed maybe aussie and something else. The other could be pitt bull or a bunch of other breeds. Thats pretty tri coloring she has going there. =]

She looks all Border Collie to me.  There could be Aussie but there's no particular reason to think so.  She looks a lot like one of Ted's littermates - actually she looks just like his dad, except his ears are up completely - but she looks not quite full grown yet.  Her ears could go up more!  Check out the purebred BC here: http://www.bordercollie.org/boards/index.php?showtopic=20580&hl=

Here's a historic dog with a ton of tri:

A purebred rescue (with papers) with a good bit of tri:

Here is a link to a page illustrating the really deep tan pattern, which is often called "saddle back"

(A friend of mine owned Hemp, one of the dogs on this page - another friend owns a son of his, who is almost solid black colored!  http://www.gis.net/~shepdog/BC_Museum/Permanent/BC_ColorSaddle.html

And lots more tricolors on this page:

Hmm your right, in the first pics she looked tri but in the other pics she shows her motteling.

After looking at the pics Brookcove posted your girl looks like she could be pure BC, to me. The coloring reminds me of an Aussie but BCs can have it as well you just dont see it as often. =D

It's merling, btw, he's a blue merle...he looks like an aussie mix to me, but it can be hard to tell. He's handsome, and your sheltie is adorable too.

Yup, that's merle all right.  BCs can have it but it's more likely to come from an Aussie getting into the action there.  Aussie/BC crosses are extremely common.

I don't know why but I see beagle in there.

Border Collie / Heeler / Aussie?

If you live around a lot of farms those crosses come up.....one of my neighbor's had a Aussie/BC that looked like a rough coated version of her
