I have a Poodle/Chihuahua mix. I adopted her through work (vet office) when her owner felt she couldn't care for her any longer and was going to take her to the shelter. She's a great girlSmile

Hi!  I have 4 Standard Poodles!  They are the loves of my life.

Lacie is a female black Standard, 18 months old.

Keisha is a female light apricot Standard, 15 months old.

Rex is a male silver beige Standard, 16 months old.

Zoe is a female black and white Parti Standard, 5 months old.

Your Sabrina is very pretty.  They are such wonderful dogs and so intellegent.  Good luck with your training!  Sounds like a lot of fun.  I have brought 2 of mine to obediance and agility classes.  Now it's time to bring the other two!

I had a toy poodle, she was the love of my life;-).  At that time, I knew little about dogs, I knew nothing of diet etc (that's how I found this site).

She would not eat dog food, but she would eat two McDee burgers a night (I know, I know).  She was totally awesome.  More a baby than a dog.

I would take her for a walk, when she didn't want to walk any longer she would sit down right where she was, she would not budge.  She was the most prissy dog;-)

She had a long life.  Her trachea started going around the age of 12  Then her heart, cataracts.  I finally had to put her down, it about destroyed me.  It literally took me years to get over;-) she was an absolute doll;-)

My Mom now has a poodle;-)
