I ordered the stuff to get Neiko tested although I have a hunch that both his parents are normal/normal.

Recently my breeder had a dog die from licking a tiny droplet of ivermectin that fell when the horse shook its head after being wormed. The death happened so fast that they didn't even make it to the vet.

She is spaying/neutering 2 of her breeding stock because they are mutant/normal and passing those genes on to puppies. This is the right thing to do imo - contrary to what that website says. Breeding dogs with the mutation is irresponsible and only passing on problems for generations.
