possibly husky, austrailian sheperd in there somewhere...

i have heard it called a "Watch Eye" or these dogs have been called spirit dogs by some Indian tribes..

they say if a dog like this attatches itself to you, then it is your spirit dog gaurdian.

i tell some people,in my straightest face, that its a contact lens...surprizingly some look at me like i am serious..lol

Looks like he might have some Great Dane in him.  Don't some colors of Danes tend to have blue eyes too?

Dogs with multi colored eyes are found in australian shepherds and Catahoula's. Thats all that I'm aware of

Wall eye(one blue eye, one brown eye) occurs in many breeds.  Along with the Catahoula Cur, there is a breed called the Catahoula Bulldog which is a mix between a pit bull and a Catahoula.  I think he might have some of either the Catahoula or the Bulldog, as he has a little bit too thick of a head for a Boxer, though he does have a Boxerish body.

Gypsy's best friend is a Dane (white with a merle patch) who has blue eyes. I could see this guy being part Dane.

I know a Chinese Crested with one brilliant blue eye and one brown, so there goes the theory that it's only so-and-so breeds.  It can happen anywhere there is light pigment in the dog.  The Chinese Crested I know is white and black.

I also know a border collie, merle, with one blue eye.

I dont know what he is but i think he is just so handsom! We have been thinking about pulling him.I will go visit him and get to know him a little better.Sometimes you can tell alot about a dog by their bark, especially if theres a hound mix in there.
One of our fosters is going to his home today. He was placed by the Giant Schnauzer club of america rescue.Hes my avitar dog, guess i will have to pick a new one!I will miss him! He is such a sweet boy!

Now, I do not know dog breeds all that well, but I will say that the first thing that popped into my head was "Great Dane".  I think it's something with the snout.  What a pretty baby.  Seriously, I'd go get him if I were you.

I did think he looked a little Dane myself. The only reason i thought maybe not was his size.He is very small. They could have guessed his age wrong.Maybe he is still a growing boy.

County my vote for Great Dane, too!

Looks like Great Dane in him to me as well.:)

That was my initial thought. That they misidentified him. He could simply be a young, underweight Dane, which have had blue eyes.

My vote is with the Great Dane Folks-from time to time, there are even runts in litters of GD-in fact our neighbor had one....it reminded me of the miniature horses-everything identical and in place, but the size thing.  I don't think their dog got much bigger than a golden retriever (much leaner though), but a perfect miniature replica of her mother.
