What is She?

This is Sasha, I have had her for 1 and a half years and shes the best dog I have ever had, engergic, funny, loving, loves to give kisses, very affectionate. Only problem is, the shelter thought she was an akita mix, but shes only at 50 pounds, about 70 pounds off the mark. I thought she was a golden mix, but I can't be sure..... So Guess away....

hmmm I'm no expert, but she looks like a shepard mix... maybe spitz? but I see lab too... Beautiful, whatever she is! A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet...

What a pretty girl! Given her size, I'd say she's a GSD/Husky mix. If it wasn't for her size, I'd say she's a pure bred white GSD (I've seen a few GSD with a tail like that).

She looks very much like a Carolina dog, which I think is a breed derived from various mixes. From what I know of them they are almost wild dogs that have been living on their own and eventually developed very dingo-like appearances. Your girl could be a Carolina dog type mix of a lot of different breeds or something as simple as a German Shepherd/Lab mix, with maybe some husky or spitz. Her face does look very shepherd-ey, so I have a feeling she's a shepherd X.

I've seen an Akita/Yellow Lab mix that looked just like her.

Sasha looks exactly like my dog. My posted picture it pretty old
so he is more lanky now.
My boy was listed on Petfinder as an extra large Malamute mix but
I think they were way off. I asked them if they knew what breed his mother had been, one person said Chow/Shep, the next said she
was Chow/Akita. I do think he is part Husky because I have run into his brother and sister and one of them has blue eyes. By any chance did you get her in Wyoming or Utah? As for breed whatever people guess I just tell them they are probably right.

she definately looks like a sheperd/lab mix, but the curly tail? who knows? gorgeous dog though!

She looks very German Shepherdy to me - I'd say GSD/Lab. I don't see Akita at all... Akitas have a very distinctive broad, triangular head and wider muzzle.
