    Hi all,

    im new here and was just wondering if anyone else here owns boxers?

    ive got 5 with a litter on the way lol [:D]

    i dont have one,but i have a question :) my aunt and uncle have a 3 or 4 year old white boxer named gunther, he is pretty big i think aroud 80lbs, i keep thinking he has somthing else in him..does he look pure to you?

    He may be crossed with American Bulldog.  Boxers should never be pure white.  It's a DQ from the ring and a dangerous color.  That said, there are some people who breed them.  He looks like he has a bit of a Bulldog head.  Then again, Boxers used to have that kind of head, but it went out of fashion.  It's almost impossible to tell.

    He certainly looks pure to me!

    Very similar to my white pups mother.

    General question to Boxer owners.  How is their shedding?  And how are they with other dogs?  A Boxer is my dream dog but i've heard that they shed like crazy.  We have a cockapoo which doesn't shed at all (which we love as no hair on any of our clothes and furniture). Was wondering if a boxer would get along with a smaller breed (ours is 35lbs).

    Hello, I've got 5 boxers and they really dont shed a great deal. As far as getting along with smaller dogs, if you introduce them properly you shouldn't have a problem. Of course, getting a puppy would be a good start.
