Bella...mix of what?

    Bella...mix of what?

The mom is Terrier and Rottie.  The father is a mystery.  We're not sure what Bella is.  Rottie?  Doberman?

She is 5 1/2 months old, weighs 28lbs.  We're guessing she'll finish up at around 50-60lbs.  Or more?  Thanks

This ;picture is when she was 2 months, but provides a nice face picture.  I don't have a recent one with me.

Oh my god, I'm dying of cuteness overload! [sm=kiss.gif]

It's so hard to tell the breeds when a mixed pup is that young... seems she favors the Rottie a good deal, but I don't know what else... it does look like she might get fluffy when her coat comes in (does she have longer fur now?).

I can't tell. I'm no good at telling.  I just wanted to say that when I saw your thread title, I thought to myself, "When did I write that?" [sm=rofl.gif]  I'm wondering what *my* Bella is, too.

I'll try getting an updated picture this weekend.

Her coat is still short, easy to maintain and doesn't really require brushing.

    OMG, I love her!

Great picture.  I'm not sure what she is, but she is a very good looking dog, i like her colors a lot.

    Thanks!  She is a cutie!!

She just got her e-collar off from being spayed.  And she is now able to play outside all she wants.  Here is a picture when she had her e-collar on last week.  I'll get one with it off soon.

Mine, too, although she's kind of small to be a Swissie pup.  She could be a Appenzeller or an Entlebucher, tho.  They are the other 2 Swiss breeds, and smaller than the Greater Swiss and Bernese Mountain Dogs.  The Entlebucher is the smallest, about the size of a large Beagle.  One thing is for sure, Bella is adorable!

She's precious!! I agree, she looks like a swiss breed. I'm pretty sure that greater swiss gets really really big though...I'm not really TOO familiar with entlebucher and appenzeller, but i know that they are a lot smaller, and have similar looks.

That's kinda what we thought too.  We saw an episode of "Dog Whisperer" and there was a swiss on there that he was working with.  And we thought Bella looked a lot like that dog.  And as she has grown older, she is getting away more and more from the Rottie and Doberman look.

Thanks for all the posts and compliments!

We're going to try controlling her excitement some by going to obedience training in the next couple of weeks.  We should have gone when she was younger, but we have been able to housebreak her and she'll sit, stay, and go outside on command when I get her attention.  But we want better control and her to be more attentive.  So we'll learn how together.

    Thanks again!

I am late to reply to this post.

Bella looks exactly like my entlebucher.  My girl is about 50 poounds now.

Entles are frequently mistaken for rotties but the key is the white cross on the neck.

Are you sure about the mother's breed? Cause she looks 100% entle to me.

Bella does look very similar to an entlebucher, but her ears are a different shape... more pointy, rather than rounded at the bottom.  Her body isn't as long as one, either.

I can definately see the rottie in her as well... maybe her father is a rottie/entlebucher mix... which would also explain your dog's 50-60lbs adult weight.

    very cute!  what a sweetie!
    Please take/post many more photos.

That last photo (with the red lid) she looks kinda like our Henrietta (Doberman X unknown mix). but your Bella has white on her.

Here is Henrietta's photos if you want to see, I think the later photos they look more alike.
Henrietta started out thinner/more tapered like a Dobe, but she is filling out a little more, kinda looks more like Bella now, I need to take newer photos as the last one's a a month old: [linkhttp://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=82710&mpage=1&key]http://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=82710&mpage=1&key[/link]=
