Toller problem?

As you may or may not already know, I own a Toller. They originated to, well, distract and toll ducks.

I'm wondering if there's any sort of 'problem' with C.J., since she hates water of any kind. She hates baths, she won't go outside in the rain, and she won't go potty even when the grass is slightly wet, or even after the ground under the grass is damp.

I had a dobe bitch who was like yours. However, give her something she could swim in....... good luck keeping her dry. I think the water from above stuff is linked to being a house dog. Morgan would go to the fence gate (when my parents had a pool) as soon as you let her out in the morning. If we didnt get out there quick she would start barking at us to let her in so she could swim.

By the way, we have a pool, and she won't touch it.

Some dogs are just like that. I know plenty of Tollers and a few of them are as you described C.J as being...this happens to a lot of breeds. She doesn't really have a problem, in my opinion. My Tango (Toller X) loves water but some of her littermates don't, like I said, just depends on the dog.
