[:)]Does anyone know of any Tamaskan Dog Breeders near Southampton?

I don't think there are many breeders in the U.S.  From what I can tell, they'd fall under the wolf cross ordinances, making them difficult to keep and breed in most states.  There's almost no way to prove it's a domestic dog.  You might have to look into breeders in Finland to find one in the first place.  Then you'd need to check and see if you can keep one in your state.  If you rent a house/apartment, you'll also need to check with your landlord.  They also don't often take kindly to wolf-looking dogs.  What are your reasons for wanting this breed, have you had prior experience with huskies?

[:D]I know of one breeder in US, they are in Texas, but they don't have any pups at the moment. Their is no Wolf in the Tamaskan, its says so on the website, thats good enough for me and I don't see why it can't be good enough for them, if they can keep them in the UK, why not here?
I have no experiance with huskies, but I owned a Malamute until just very recently and I do think this breed is just gorgeous...
I own my own house, so no landlords to worry about....

I know there is no wolf in the breed, but you'll constantly have people telling you there is.  If you can get papers saying your dog is not a wolf mix, you should be able to keep one.  It's just going to be hard to find a breeder.  Also, which Southampton?  I just checked and there's one Southampton in Ontario, one in the UK, one in New York, and at least three housing areas in Nebraska.  I might be able to help you out a bit.  The only thing I can find is [linkhttp://tamaskan-dog.com/index.htm]http://tamaskan-dog.com/index.htm[/link].  That's the registry, I believe, but you've probably already found that.
