    A partial quote

Every member of the party had sores and scars on their faces, legs and hands - legacies of times when the animals suddenly turned hostile and pounced on their handlers with their teeth, fingers and claws.
"We use a heavy stick to hit the hyenas on the head when they misbehave," Abdullahi says. "We knock them down on the ground. All of us hold the sticks in case the animals become aggressive."

I'm very certain you have a pet hyena...just like I am certain that you are a sane person.
This picture says it all.  Notice the full muzzles on the hyenas.  Now, look at the white dog at the right.  No muzzle.  These are not "pets" to the people, but how they make their living.  They travel around the country with these animals to show them off.  They are circus animals.

Also, I referred to eating them because they are basically considered dirty by most tribes.  Not pets, but creatures unfit for consumption and consumption of an animal to them means survival.

First off, you're the one spouting crazy stuff.  Hyenas are wild animals.  They are not dogs.  This is a dog forum.  You are clearly out of place.

Secondly you posted copyrighted material as if it were your own.

    Thirdly you're now saying you're a breeder.
