My guess would be Pittbull / Boxer mix maybe.

He looks like a Pit to me. As well, Pits are medium sized dogs so they don't need to be on giant breed food. You might want to check with your vet to see if it's okay to feed him that.

If you're in doubt of his breed, you could always say Pit mix. But to me he looks like a pure Pit. My mom's Staffy was free from her vet clinic as someone had found her running loose and the vet clinic was trying to find her a home. They tried to say she was Staffy/Boxer, but there's no Boxer in her whatsoever.

I think the only thing that matters for you dog is that he's cute! I have a German Shepherd mix and everyone either thinks he's a ;purebred Shepherd(as he does look it) or they want to know what he's mixed with. That we have no clue about as one of his parents was a purebred Shepherd and one was a Shepherd mix. I'm satisfied that he's a Shepherd mix.

Cute! You might just switch to large breed puppy formula- he doesn't look like he will be giant- like a Great Dane but maybe more medium to large.  He does look pitty to me and as such will be muscular but might extremely tall.

I think he looks like a pit too [:)]  Maybe not 100% pure but certainly mostly pit.  I love his coloring....but then I've always loved brindle pibbles [:D]

Alot of people have said he looks pitty... the person i got him from (who aperntly knew the breeder) said hes a mastiff x with an american bulldog... the more i look in to it he seems to be mastif x wit american staf... this picture shows his mastif profile a bit... well i think...

I have taken him to the she recomended the giant puppy food and put him down on her files a a mastif cross...

Any more opinions id love to hear them...

Thanx for your comments so far!!!

He looks like a pitty  to me but then I see those feet and they are HUGE!  Dipper's feet ain't even that big and Dipper's a big boy!  Maybe Mastiff/Pitty?!?!  He is a cutie either way!  I think you are going to have a pretty big boy on your hands!

Still looks Pit to me. Some medium dogs have big paws that they never grow into. To me he doesn't look Mastif at all.

HOLY COW... look at those feet. Your right he is going to be a giant. I have no idea what breed not that 'dog smart' but I like his coat

I would say either Mastiff/Pit Bull, Mastiff/Boxer, or Pit Bull/Boxer...

I'll go with mastiff/pit.  The body and head aren't pit enough to be pure pit.  There's no super broad chest/shoulders that really makes a pit a pit.  Someone in my obedience class had a pure mastiff that looks almost exactly like that puppy (the head is a tad different), just 20 times as big!

If he's still pretty lean like he looks in the pictures and weighs 32 lbs, I'd say he'll grow up to be a big fella. My guy didn't hit that weight till he was 5.5 months. He's all legs though.

    Yes - definitly pit mix

I have to agree with some of the others - I don't see any Mastiff at all.  When I was a vet tech, we had several Mastiff breeders bring their pups in, and they didn't look at all like this pup.  I can definitely see Pit, and I think the mix may be Boxer.  And its true - you can't always go by the size of the feet. Some pups don't ever grow into them.  My Dane pup was only 19 lbs. at 3 months, and is now 160 lbs.  But I've seen dogs that were HUGE at 3 months, and only grew to be medium size dogs. So you can't always go by the weight at certain ages either. But I have to agree that he's absolutely as adorable as they come!
