• DumDog Posted : 5/3/2007 3:10:54 PM the defined markings suggest rottie or dobie. possibly a dobie/shepherd going by the thick coat. i would be willing to bed that THAT particular puppy loses most of the black as he grows. i had a dobie/aussie shepxpit bull that looked like a rottie as a puppy but when he was full grown he looked like a harrier with a tail like a question mark.. i dont have any pictures of him online or i would show him off. he wasnt fuzzy though. with the mix that he was he had a coat more like a hound's. my brother also had a rottie/dobie mix that took after the dobie side. all his siblings did too with the slick coat. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • brookcove Posted : 5/3/2007 6:28:36 PM That's a mixed breed - several breeds went into that dog, I'm sure. English shepherds frequently have those markings, too. • Virginia Posted : 5/3/2007 6:31:43 PM  Looks like possible a dobe/shepherd mix. It's really hard to tell with a picture like that.  Of course, many mixed breeds are not just a cross of two breeds.
