What breed or mix of breeds is my dog?

I rescued this cutie at the local pound. I was told she was Wheaten Terrier or Wheaten Terrier mix. I of course am almost positive she has no Wheaten in her at all.  I have pics of when we first got her about a 2 months ago (and her hair is long)it grew quite a bit longer before we groomed her .  and pics of now about 2 weeks after being groomed  Any one have any suggestions on what she may be mixed with?

    How big is she?

I Know! She is the cutest thing. and has the greatest personality to match! I was skeptical of a small dog as I am a lover of big breeds, my past 5 dogs have been american bulldog, APBT, And 3 Rottweilers. But we moved and can only have small dogs and so we got Molly from a lady who was fostering her for the pound and we fell in love with her. She was said to be 5-6 months old when we got her in February.  Those first pics were taken then and of course the others were taken two weeks ago. So you can kind of tell she got a little bigger between the pics.  Her hair grows out long and straight, but kinda fluffy, but when we groomed her she kinda looked like a schnauzer in the face. She only weighs between 10-12 lbs and could use maybe a few pounds. She stands about a foot tall to her back and about 16-18inches at the top of her head. I am not sure if she will get any bigger.  A couple more pics, they were taken outside and are a bit bright...

I am totally ignorant with breeds, but I see Schnauzer and maybe Westie in there somewhere. Very cute!

I really am usually slow to throw out papillon (I have two), but I really think that's a good guess.  The ears are very papillonesque.  The size fits- paps go up to 12 lbs but some out of standard dogs are 16 lbs.  Her tail also looks like it could come from the papillon.  Maybe a papillon/poodle or a papillon/terrier or papillon/schnauzer?  I don't know the texture of her coat.  Papillon/poodle (papipoo) might be a good guess as that seems to be an up and coming crossbred dog.

Anyways, like I said, that is the cutest dog ever!  Congrats on the new baby!  (The small dogs are very addicting btw.  I used to have labs and a GSD but now I have shelties and papillons)

When we first got her I had NO clue what she looked like, but as her hair grew out, I could tell she had some kind of terrier in her. Then when I grooomed her, She looked just like a schnauzer except she is the wrong color. And her coat has always been soft and now its even more fuzzy soft. I have a friend with a full blooded Schnauzer and hes wiry and not soft at all! I know that since she is still young that her looks could change a bit as she grows and maybe the more dominant breed will show through. She definitly has the terrier attitude. Very hyper and loves to play. She chases anything that moves including bees and butterflies! I was just curious to see what kind of response you guys had, as I know from a lot of the posts I have read that you guys know a lot more about dogs than I do!  Thanks for all the responses. I know I will never know exactly what she is, but we love her anyways!

Here is a pic I took of her and my son in his wagon with his stuffed animals cause thats what I thought she looked like!  This was before I groomed her. The pics are a bit crappy, they came from a cell phone!

Thanks everyone for the new opinions on her. I have no idea how big she will be full grown, I dont think she is gonna get much bigger. Shes about the size of a miniature schnauuzer, maybe a tad taller.

I never thought about the powder puff, I kept thinking maybe schnauzer and maybe a westie or sheltie, because of her fur when its not groomed.  But with shelter dogs, its hard to tell what your gettin! But you cant help but love em anyways!

This is my first shelter dog, as I usually own purebreds and because of her, I just want to go rescue em all!

And she just happens to be the same color. This pup is in full coat and has had her face shaved.

wow! quite a resemblence! She looks a bit smaller than my puppy but Im quite sure she isnt fullblooded anything! so im sure whatever she is mixed with could cause the difference in size. I dont actually know much about the powder puffs. I might have to do a search and see what kind of pics I can find of them. Thanks a bunch!

Thats a new one on me too. I guess because of the long fur, I was only thinking of breeds with long fur, but since she is probably mixed, both parents wouldnt have to be long furred..  Im just so surprised that she looks like two different dogs when shes groomed. I think once summer is over and she gets her long coat back, and by then she will be out of the puppy stage, that maybe she will be easier to tell her mixes. or at least give me a few more guesses...LOL
