    I am thinking about getting a Cavalier and want to know if there are any Cavalier people out there who would share their thoughts on the breed.....................

    From what I've read and heard about the breed is that they are a fun little dog but have some major health concerns and a shorter life span then most small dogs. These are the kind of dogs that if you get from a breeder you should really have a close connection to the breeder just in case anything comes up that you will need help with in the future.

    It is so good you are doing your research about this breed first. There really is a lot to consider before owning one. I hope more come along to give you better advice.

    PROCEEED WITH CAUTION would be my first advice. This breed is not to be bought from just anyone. Tons of health issues to worry about. Avoid people who do not breed only "import" from other countries...start at the breed club

    Do not buy a "bargain" Cavalier...you will pay in the end. Budget about $2000 for a quality well bred and backed pet puppy.
