    Hello,
We have chatted, but at last I am able to logon. My pc has issues with java script....

Any way, it is nice to see a pic of your very beautiful Blue. He is very
    dashing.

Question: Do their ribs and bones always show no matter how well fed they are? I feel like a bad puppy-mom. Ellie looks so thin, but she is happy, fed, watered, and very active. I was just wondering. I don't want her fat and sluggish, she eats 2 times a day, but water is there 24/7.

Ellie was a she-devil this morning. The weather is nice (for Minnesota) and she wanted to play outside forever. She is so funny and falls over her own feet.

We will have to chat again.

    Have a good day.
    Sincerely,
    Ta

Hi there fellow weim owners!  I've been at this site for a bit now and its always nice to see some new weim people here.  There is one other lady named claire who owns weims. Check out the business section. She makes homemade dog cookies! I have one weim. His name is Scout and he'll be 2 in May. He's very active and very much on the slim side.  In his lines the dogs that are built like him do not really fill out until they are 3. It is much better to have your dog on the skinnier side than on the chunkier. As a rule, perfect weight for a weim should be that you can see the last 2 ribs, and not the rest.  But you should be able to easily feel them all.  Scout is very active.  We take obedience training classes once a week and go jogging.  Plus he goes to doggie daycare! So keeping weight on him is hard.  We recently switched to a raw food diet because he was eating 6-7 cups of kibble a day and losing weight. THe high protein is helping to maintain his weight and the weight that he is is ALL muscle. Plus getting him to eat that much kibble was difficult at best.  Weims are built very differently. Some have a lot of substance while others remain more sleek.  I want to see some pictures of your greykids!
