    I don't think her ears are oddly shaped.  I've seen many a GSD (Especially in the american lines) with ears shaped like that.
     
    Personally, I think she's 100% GSD, just cream.  It DOES happen, it's just not common.

    We got our beautiful dog when she was 6 weeks old, she is now 7 months.

     
    I agree, she's beautiful!!!!  I love her coloring and plushness.  What a great dog!

    Thanks everyone for your responces.  We love her very much, and I think we are just going to assume she is a light colored GSD.  For those of you who have had your GSD since they were puppies can you answer this for us?  Were they really hyper?  We are taking her to training right now, and she does really well.  However when other people or dogs are around she will not listen to us.  But with us or the trainer she can sit, stay , lay down, ect... with no problem.  Just wondering if this is normal.  Just FYI, I am a first time dog owner and lovin it!

    [:D]  ...well, Animal is very wild, plays the drums and beats them like a fiend...he is wide-eyed, wild and wooly...all the while his mouth is hanging open and panting, panting, panting...saying the words, "rah-rah-rah-rah...."  You need to do an online search for a good visual...then let me know!

    I am sure you'll get more feedback on this but in our case Myrika is 8 mo and is already beginning to calm nicely.
     
    P.S. Edited to add: Ophie is absolutely gorgeous...hope she has a wonderful temperament and loving personality to match. [sm=angel.gif]

    She is absolutely the most loving dog, she is happy and fun! Just a great dog! I just hope she calms down a little bit..

    Here are a few pics of Myrika for comparison on coloring.  The first is when we got her at around 3 mo and the second two are somewhere around 7 mo. She is considered Sable.  Her father was jet black and her mother sable.  Not knowing for sure, we thought she'd keep the light golden coloring but alas no!

    Your dog is so cute.. I want another puppy for Ophie to play with!

    You're right...what a cute picture!  Ophie looks like she's got soot on her face, very smokey-like.  Myrika, on the other hand, looks like she dunked her face in black paint, lol.  Love it-love it-love it!!

    You could be right, and I would not trust any breeder whose pups leave their litter at 6 weeks to tell me the truth about the dog's parentage either!!!
