• A true mutt (more pics added) Lindsey Gossett Posted : 1/2/2007 2:56:15 AM Ok we know for sure that this girl's mom was a lab x basset hound.  You pretty much can't see either breed in her I thought they were lying when they said that but the person who brought her into the pound bred the dogs and the mother was definatly a lab x basset hound lol.  What would you guess her father was.  He definatly had chow in him because she has a purple spotted tongue i'm guessing also either rottie or german shepherd.   But the thing is she is also small only 40 pounds (8 months old) so I would have thought she would be bigger if she had those mixed in her.  And she also has a severe underbite but I know that can crop up in any breed. Size around mid 40s for a female (can be smaller, too), ears are right, furry, and the black and tan markings can be carried on the Aussie side.
