    More of my foster

Okay, here are a few outside of his crate. Kind of hard to get them as he doesn't stay very still....between him and Gus the border collie, they have a chasing good time. The one photo is blurry but you can see how his tail curls over his back. One of my main reasons for thinking he has something else in him, although I've seen a few  pictures of cattle dog pups where the tails are up somewhat. The one of him playing with our boy Gus I just through in for fun.

Still don't see a lick of anything but cattle dog. IMO the tail carriage alone doesn't make me think of anything else mixed in....bad/off tailsets are seen in many breeds, esp with BYB breds...and if  the dog comes from working stock, I doubt the tail carriage is first on the list of worries [;)]

Do you have access to sheep or stock? Be interesting to see how he'd react....cute dog!

He seems to look like he has a finer build than most that I've seen, although there again that still could be just the BYB bred type. I'm also not quite sure about his ears. I'm not sure at what age they normally come up. I've been trying to research it and I've seen a lot of younger puppies with their ears already pricked. This all could be the BYB type though. Will be hard to tell for sure I guess until he gets older.
Nope, don't have any access to sheep or cattle. If I did I'd be trying our border collie out on the sheep.
