Gun dog books?

I have a few books on Cockers, but the content it quiet trivial. • Pwca Posted : 12/20/2006 11:09:17 AM A great but somewhat dated series of gundog books (for gun dog training, anyway) is the series by Richard Wolters. Not the most positive, but wonderful at breaking down gundog training into steps. There are four books- Water Dog, Gun Dog, Game Dog, and Family Dog. These were my VERY first training books (when I was a kid and we had a lab- more than 20 years ago now. ) and while they're not the most positive or up to date with methology, they're still good books- my dad's birddog trainer loves and highly recommends them.
