Poor baby had a poo accident in the crate this a.m. due to his diahrea. :( I went home at lunch to find it and him very upset. My neighbor is home today so he is going to go check on him several times until I get home.

Oh man poor guy. Hawk had giardia and he lost so much weight it made me want to cry.  I had to get up several times a night to let him out too.  One time I didn't make it on time and he had stuck his butt to the side of the crate and most of it was on my carpet then in his crate.  I hope he gets better.  Give him a hug from me.

Hi there, LOL the whole sticking butt up to the crate thing...that is what he did yesterday! poor thing...and it ALMOST hit Bella! Most of it was on the carpet and then he got up under his soft bed in the crate and sat on the plastic. Smart cookie! He seems better today, no diarrhea, more like regular poo, not quite as firm as normal, but more towards normal than non. Looks like it was probably just a reaction to his shots. I am going to slowly work his food back in by mixing it with the I/D diet and see how we do.

OH AND GUESS WHAT? HE DIDNT WAKE ME UP TO PEE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! HE HELD IT ALL NIGHT!!!!! WHOO HOO!

Not so much about dogs as...ants!

I'm from BC, Canada, so what did I know about scary bugs when I first arrived in NC, UA! Anyway, I was running across an open field in my bare feet, when OWWWW!!! Ants. My Golden jumped out the car window with a blood-curdling battle-cry, dove jaws first into my adversaries' domain, and dug, dug, dug madly, still snarling, until I'd gotten far enough from the ants. Poor Aspen could barely breathe and had to have tubes in the hospital. He was very swollen for some time and in immense pain - he bit one of the vet techs in the back room and wouldn't let go until I dashed in to call him off.

That's the sort of dog you've gotten yourself into. Hard headed as a rock and crazy as a teenager.

    No regrets,
    A & A (aka "The Twin Teens")

P.S. Gotta love those bird dogs. [:D]
