Are you sure Spot is a mix?
I'm not familiar with greyhounds.
IF Spot is a mix, I'd say Spot might have a little bit of some kind of bully in him, maybe?
He's REALLY built up front in the chest area.
But he looks pure greyhound to me, unless greyhounds are slimmer, I don't know.

As for the rest, I'm not sure what they all have in them.
They all look like they got some greyhound in them. I don't know.

But they sure are beautiful!

Willowmum, I think the URLs of your photo links may be giving the answer away? [] One thing is for sure, they are all stunning dogs!

Hmmm, OK, I'll venture a guess:

Spot, maybe a beagle(or other  hound)/greyhound ?

Dennis pit bull/terrier or pit bull/lab ?

Luki greyhound/great pyreneese ?sp?  ?  I say this b/c saw that mix at the park & looked exactly like Luki.

Tara, a belgian malinois/pit bull ?

Ohh sorry think I may be misleading a bit here!  the url pitbulluk is my ex partners nick name (no Im not telling) so should point out there is no pitbull in any of my lot!

Chewbacca Spot is a mix, basically known as a lurcher, definite greyhound and some sort of working dog.  However I must say Luki is possibly related to you as with the noises he makes I think he's half wookie!  He's officially known as a longdog a mix of 2 sighthounds.

The one thing they have in common is the sighthound link.

Any more guesses?
 
Edited to say if Im not back later its because Im celebrating my team winning today!

They all looked like lurchers to me.  I know there are many variables since that's not a breed, but a type of dog.

Here are my guesses:

Greyhound/Foxhound

Greyhound/Poodle or Irish Wolfhound Mix

Borzoi mix

Smooth Collie/Greyhound mix

Can greyhounds not be tricolor like that?  Spot's body shape looks almost pure greyhound or badly bed greyhound at least...i agree his coloring looks somewhat foxhound (though I'm not sure if they usually have tan eyespots like that..I don't think their heads are usually that color.

Dennis looks like he could be a Greyhound/JRT mix...his face looks very JRT, but it also looks like he could be a puppy in that picture..?

Luki looks a LOT like a Borzoi, so I vote Borzoi X.

Tara looks to have lab-like markings (that pale stripe on the shoulders), and German Shepherd type ears...though I guess Lab ears crossed with Greyhound ears could result in that type perhaps.  I've seen Greyhounds with prick ears before.  I don't think she has any smooth collie in her...I think a Greyhound body bulked up with some Lab or shepherd can result in a similar body type.  But then again, you never know []

But Spot is certainly greyhound cross, he has a greys temperament, very laid back lad and very gentle but he is a big lad and thicker set than a grey.  Im leaning towards smooth foxhound or even smooth collie.
 
Dennis didly squirt is most likely a patterdale terrier crossed with a whippet and has all the terrier traits, littlest dog here but the most aggressive and will put all the rest in their place apart from my old greyhound!
 
Luki most definitely borzoi but with lots of  feathering so the main contender is at the mo Saluki although some one said Afgan at a show last week.  He is however the daftest dog ever, Im sure he hears voices or his braincell gets lonely, biggest dog but the biggest wuss!
 
Tara the destroyer, most likely whippet with who knows although she does look a bit like a miniture german shepard (oh I hope noone thinks of that as a ruddy designer dog!) she has the most expressive ears ever, most pricked but up and down like a yoyo and will lay them back like a grey.

They are gorgeous.

Lurchers, from my experience, can be crossed with any sighthound. But I believe most popular is the Greyhound/Whippet cross. But I have seen and heard of many others.

Neat dogs. .  .love all of them, so unique!

They are all very much individuals but Luki is a bit of a poser and thinks he's the most handsome
