Does anyone on this board own one of these dogs??  My daughter and I got some books from the library just trying to research what exactly Dixie might be just for fun and we saw this cute dog and wondered more about the breed.  Seems there is a toy, minature and standard breed of it.  Any information anyone has would be great. • Xerxes Posted : 9/8/2006 10:15:29 PM I helped a friend of mine research this breed.  He finally got into contact with the breeder and she berated him, effectively turning both him and myself off of this breed. They are a legitimate breed, having bred true with no further mixing for quite a bit of time, with a fiercely protective and loyal following. • dogslife Posted : 9/21/2006 6:34:19 AM We see plenty of them at UKC shows all the time...lively little dogs....the pups are almost unbearably cute!   RWbeagles, that is an excellent description.    The heads are a little large for the body which gives them that irresistable baby like appearance.   I wouldn't go buy one, but I wouldn't say no if someone gave me one!!   My normal size Siberians wouldn't know what to think of that.  But looks like the little creatures could fit in.  I do not know, I have never seen one other than in pictures on the web. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
