What breeds do you think she is?

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I love the site! I have had a little 16 lb. terrier mix named Penny for 2 1/2 years now. I adopted her from the local shelter. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what kind of mix she is. My vet has suggested schnauzer and dachshund (she has a long back). This photo is from the day I got her, she was 6 mos. old.

She looks like a Powderpuff crestie or mix - her face is just too sweet! My crestie has a very long back - I have to buy big clothes for her and have my mom cut down the collar and waist.

schnauzer and dachshund

it looks like a shi-tzu to me because it has long hair. If her hair doesnt shed, then its a shih-tzu or a mix blood.

I don't see the dachshund in her. If I was to guess, i would say a Cairn Terrier mix (what toto is on the wizard of oz)! whatever she is, she's really cute!!!* (the picture shows a different color of cairn compared to your dog, they come in several varieties!!)
