• mrv Posted : 8/7/2006 6:30:21 PM she looks working line malinois to me, her behavior would be the determining factor (belgian versus something else).  There had been some breed crossings done in working lines (usually dutch shepherds and even a dane).  One of the factors behind the decision was to increase the bite ratio.  The practice didnt stay around too long.  Dutch shepherds with mals in the pedigree and Malinois with dutchies in the pedigree are fairly common in working lines.  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • Linda Lancaster Posted : 8/7/2006 7:30:11 PM Thank you all for your responses.  Katie's form is  like the pictures I've seen of the Belgian Shepherd Malinois. She has a beautiful smooth coat overlaid with black. She is very athletic and very intelligent.  As I said she appeared out of no where one day in my rural front yard.  She had no collar but there was an imprint of a collar.
