Dachshund Growth Rate Question.

• Dachshund Growth Rate Question. Bob Schlick Posted : 8/3/2006 11:50:24 AM I have a 10 week old rottwieler / dachshund mix puppy and his appearnce is deffenitly taking after the father (the dachshund).  He is 8 lbs, and gaining just under 1 pound a week. I am wondering what a typical growth rate is for a dachshund.  I am curious if he is going to continue to take after the dachshund or if I am going to start seeing the rottwieler also. Yup, the mother was the Rottie and the father was a Dachshund...don't ask me how though...I have no idea. All the other puppies look like rotts, but Hercules (mine) looked like the doxie.
