Any Pound Puppers? (Shelter Dogs)

• Ashley Posted : 4/10/2007 5:17:37 PM I got Schmee from a shelter about 45 minutes away. She was 8 weeks old, and we weren't even planning to bring a puppy home that day. But the staff told us that someone had called about her, and if we didn't take her that morning, that another woman would. How could we give up such a sweetie? When she first came home and she was small, if she was on the couch she HAD to be in the space between your lower back and the back cushion. • bluelighting Posted : 4/11/2007 11:11:34 PM Blue is a shelter dog, him and littermates along with their mom where dropped off in a box in Kentucky. They where moved up to a shelter in Loveland where we adopted Blue at 13 or 14 weeks olds. We found out as he grew that he was a German Shepherd/ Husky mix. Blue is now 3 years old will be 4 come October and he is never far away from my side.
