My foster puppy.

ACD x terrier of some sort, I'd say.  He really doesn't look full ACD to me, to standard or not to standard.  His head shape, eye shape, ear shape, and substance is not ACD looking to me.

I have seen purebred blue heelers that were that size, these were just farm dogs so no testing or anything, but they were very small.
So if you live in  an area with farms around he may be just a breeding of 2 neighbors ACD's.

Right...and one of the first things you notice when you go small to small...is the miniaturization effect...one of the biggest being larger and portruding eyes, and slender muzzles.

As I said, I think there is  something else in the pup....but that something else I would wager was mixed with ACD itself...I wouldn't be shocked at 3/4 ACD 1/4 Terrier.

You gotta check this thread for the pics of the two cattle dogs...relations perhaps? The poster is in AR. I think...I just thought it was neat to see how alike they looked!

I say pure ACD too.  My failed foster (as I was told by ACD rescue) is a pure but badly bred ACD.
