Anyway, I went to a place I had heard about on line. The breeders would bring their dogs there as a group. It seemed to me that this was better than going to a "mall pet store" or something.
see, this sounds like a puppy mill outlet to me. I have no problems with you wanting a "doodle" or whatever, or wanting a puppy rather than an older rescue dog, but financially supporting irresponsible breeders, especially the horrors of puppy mills, is just wrong. Responsible breeders line up buyers for their puppies before they breed.
what's wrong with a poodle? small, don't shed, if from a good breeder will be more likely to be healthy than a cockapoo.
