Btw, I just want to share with you all that one forum member has already reached out and helped with the Bobbi search. I did not have access to a color printer and this person generously printed off posters and over nighted them to me.

Not to mention others on this forum that forwarded information to people they knew in the area.

So thanks to all of you who helped and those that offered so much support through emails, pms and the bobbi thread. We have a great group of folks that frequent these forums!

I just wanted to make sure that no member felt so alone, or so in trouble taking care of their dogs, that they were afraid to ask.  Many of us have talents that we don't necessarily share here, but could come in handy.  Even if we never use this section, I hope people are glad it's here:-)

Thanks for starting this.  For sure, I'm in to help, although who knows what I'm good for yet ;)

Absolutely -- and I want to encourage folks to just plain step forward with help where you can.  If you know a member is having a tough time -- just that tiny email letting them know you are thinking of them can be SO powerful. 

Stepping up to volunteer to do a thing or send a thing -- it is beyond compare in "help" and it can make such a difference in someone's life.

I know about some lean times. So, I'm here, too. I will mention this only to show that I can and will help. Back in January, I volunteered for the SSRR, Southern States Rottweiler Rescue. This big ole sweetheart named Shadow was being re-homed from Austin, TX to Nashville, TN. I took two legs, from Dallas to Sulphur Springs and Sulphur Springs to Texarkana.. Actually, I picked him up in Lancaster, just south of Dallas and transferred him in New Boston, west of Texarkana. It was great to help when I had the chance.

Anyway, I help when I can. Pay it forward.
