Billy the Venturin e.c.s-YELL needs prayers & good thots

I'm so scared for you and him.  I just want to scream, "NOOOOOOO!"  at the top of my lungs. 

*smile* yeah - that JUST about covers how David and I felt.    I was SO thrilled David actually had been able to get there last night -- he's got annual stuff going on at work and it's that time of year when I typically don't get to see him til VERY late.  But I told him I really wanted him to see Dr. Demers 'work' so David WAS there for these scarey failed blood pulls (they went in FOUR times before they got a blood vessel big enough that the blood didn't clot in the tube).

I'm scared, but I also know we caught it pretty fast (for auto-immune that is) -- thanks folks.  I think Billy was scared of it all -- he's had enough blood pulled to know it's not supposed to BE like that.  But he also truly likes and trusts Dr. Demers so we'll see how this goes.  Will let you know (and I'll move this thread over to health later).

Callie I am so sorry Billy is not at his best, my prayers are for healing for Billy and strength for you and David.  You have helped me and so many others through rough times.....we thank you and are with you in faith.  Oh yeah, lets not forget to pray for a calmer teenage Tink for a while anyway,

Billy's in my thoughts too - I've just stuck a Postit on my desk calendar saying "Think of Billy".  Every time I glance across at it and *smile* (because it's a homemade calendar with pics of William all over it) I will be thinking of him - strength and courage and healing and love all coming your way from over the pond... I'll be checking back regularly for updates....

Callie, you're on standing order for good thoughts.  You give so much to so many that I always have you @ the top of my good thought list.

Oh, no!  I'm so sorry to read this news about sweet Billy!

Truckloads of good thoughts and vibes heading across the miles (I guess I should send "airplane-loads" so they get there faster!).  I know he is in the best possible hands at home with you and David, and at the vets' offices, thanks to the incredible team of professionals you have -- traditional, homeopathic, eastern medicine, etc.  Add to that the amazing spirit that Billy has and all the people here rooting for him . . . . he's got a lot of positive power in his corner! 

I just got a call from Billy's "favorite tech" (Tom) -- his hematacrit is an AMAZING 42.5 (it just couldn't BE more perfect).  And his platelets are like 275 (close to that) which isn't high nor low. 

PHEW.

That's just a partial they called with tonight but it relieves SOME of the pressure.  I said to Tom "Sooo it doesn't say anything at the top like "This dog must have Super Glue in his blood??" or anything and he said Nope.

Sooooo we wait til tomorrow but at least we know SOMETHING positive ("good";) -- we don't know what's going on but at least we know a couple of things that could have been way 'bad' and are not.

Frum one therapy dog to anudder (even tho I'm not a fficial TD), I sure hope you feel better and up to your good work agin really, REALLY soon.  You gots to stop scarring yur mum and dad.
