I'm not sure where to begin

I have four children and grandchildren but cannot imagine what her parents are going through; it's too horrible to think about. I'll keep all of them in my prayers.

Thank you all.  I haven't heard from her.  But, there was a big article in our paper today.  She was trying to save a little boy!!  Here's the article.  http://www.projo.com/news/content/Tiffany_07-01-08_1AANADM_v17.41230de.html

Lori, I'm just now seeing this heartbreaking thread.  I'm always afraid when I've been away from the forum for a while that I'll return to find someone has shared sad news.  This is just awful; I can't even begin to imagine how her parents are coping.  Like Callie said, the guilt would be crushing, playing the scene over and over.  Her poor father, remembering her last words.  I don't even know what to say, other than to offer my thoughts and prayers along with the others.  Hopefully her youth is in her favor.  I seem to remember hearing that young brains can heal or regenerate better, but maybe I'm wrong.

Sending good strong vibes to you, too.  It's very difficult to maintain one's own composure when trying to console a distraught friend, not knowing what to say or do, when nothing really seems very helpful.  Keep us posted on any news you get.

My heart goes out to this family...praying really hard that she pulls through this.

She did not breathe on her own, the brain is swelling with no room for it to swell--she's got no brain activity at this point.   They need to make a decision to keep her on the machines or not.  Please, I really beg everyone to pray for her, this is my friends child!  I'm distraught, my whole workplace is also--just trying to not let it consume us.

    Thanks.

I haven't been as active on here, but I'm still following stories - and I'll follow this one especially.

I haven't posted yet but have been following this thread and was so hoping for some good news. I'm so sorry to hear this latest news. Sending some special thoughts their way and hope that things will turn around for the good. Such a sweet young girl.

Oh, no.  I hope they're able to give her some more time, more chances to become stable.  We're still thinking of her over here, my three year old just blew her a hug and a gentle kiss to get better.

I'm crying reading the article.  She saved someone else's life.....I hope hers can be saved now.  I can't imagine the agony her family is going through.

Tiffany is gone.  Her brain had swelling to maximum that it could be.  I'm not sure if she died on her own or if they took her off the machines.  My friend is beyond devastated I can't imagine that she will be back to work.  It's hard to understand her on the phone, she's sedated and crying.

But, thank you all for your prayers and good wishes.  I know like the article said she had a purpose in this life and she died a hero to all of us.

    Thank you.
