Teenie surgery

You've got  them girl -- And Teenie -- this is just one more opportunity for you to get to know your friends at the vets.  Tell Mom THINK TREATS.  I know you can't have any before surgery -- BUT how about taking treats FOR THE STAFF themselves??  Just as a thank you in advance for looking in on your slightly skittish girl?? 
 
And as you go back for follow up you CAN take treats and have some fun with it.

That's a good idea! Unfortunately, I don't have any Hershey's Kisses, to make cookies with. I do have chocolate chips, though. I may go make some peanut butter chocolate chips, in a few minutes.

Teenie's surgery is finished. She is fine! It was just a fatty tumor, despite the fact that the other vets said it definitely wasn't.... I really don't think I'll be using them any more.

Anyhow, Teenie, the vet, and the lump are headed back to town, and I'm about to go get Teenie and the lump. Maybe I'll post gross lump pictures for you[]

PHHHHEEEEEEWWWWWW!!!  That wasn't a hurricane Jennie....just me letting out the breath I've been holding for almost 24 hours!!

RAH!!!  :Me too -- been thinking of our girl all day!!! Happy dance time!

I just got home with her. She was very sweet, and good at the vet's office. The staff *loved* her! She's down to 13.5 pounds of buff weiner dog. Her bloodwork looks awesome. She's quite high, and she has a crazy bad hair do, but she seems to be fine. She's resting in her kitty bed, with a blankie over her.

I have her lump. Yay! I'm such a nerd...

I really like this vet, a lot. I'm quite comfortable with her, and I really like the way she talks to me, and the way she treats my dog. I think I'll be using her exclusively.
