• Unintended Day Off - update spiritdogs Posted : 5/19/2007 7:38:16 AM Instead of running a play group and teaching a class today, I found myself taking my SO to the ER.  He has liver disease and has complications from that.  They are admitting him for some tests, and it'll be at least 8-10 hours before I know anything, so I'm sitting tight here just in case.  (Sorry to all the folks in Maine who will miss class, etc. I just can't be that far away from him today.) • spiritdogs Posted : 5/20/2007 5:12:14 PM Thanks, everyone.  He got through the procedure ok and was zonked out sleeping when I called earlier.  They waited until this morning to do it.  And, now he needs transfusions and antibiotics, so they sedated him.  One of the people in today's play group said they ought to keep him a few more days, and he'll need a special diet (he won't like that part).  His condition will ultimately lead to transplant or... but, for now he's still with us.  Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated.  I know what those idog vibes can do.
