• willowchow Posted : 3/23/2007 4:35:19 PM Thanks guys!   UPDATE--Good news!!  I spoke to the vet today.  The urine tested negative for the crystals(which they did say yesterday).  They think the refridgeration caused some type of what they call "contamination"--gave a false positive.    And, also the reason we had it done in the first place--the UTI--is cleared up!    She apologized for all the confusion.  They'd been crazy with people calling and they've been doing precautionary blood work on dogs due to the recalled food.    Anyway, I'm so happy Willow is OK.    THANKS!!![] 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • willowchow Posted : 3/23/2007 6:57:46 PM did they have to put you through a breakdown?   I know.  I work in MRI and if we need to call someone back for further images or for any reason at all we just say something really non-alarming like there was movement on the films or the doctor wants a different view.  NOT, we found a problem and like they said to me "too many crystals for us to ignore."    It's a large practice and depending on who you deal with as far as techs and secretaries your experience can be completely different.  Our vet is so wonderful with Willow though. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
