Cora & J - need prayers

...times spent in the yard, up in the woods, whatever she wants. End it on a high note if possible.

 Wow, have we been fortunate!

Cora went to the vet yesterday and I got this report: "Her bloodwork was good, so she had a 2nd chemo pill and the vet is looking at backup plans and a brand new Rx that just received FDA approval."

SO!  Fingers crossed things are staying positive.  Cora is bratty and obnoxious as she was when she was a puppy.  Back to conditions before her spinal injury.  Decimating stuffed toys, she actually tried to bite Gracie last night as she was having a zoomie in the living room and Cora wanted her to knock it off.  Trying to climb on things to get bones/food, or onto the couch to look out the window when her mom goes outside (not things she's supposed to do b/c of her spinal injury)  It's just awesome!  She's got a month and a half until her 8th birthday.... I don't dare ask for too much, because 8 really isn't good enough, but every day and week is fantastic in the grand scheme of things!

Paige -- that rocks!!  I was just thinking of Cora last night again!!

Lots of vibes still coming for Cora and J..... what good news, I have been worried that I might have missed an update.

I'm sorry to say that Cora was unable to rally from an infection that reared its head recently, and her owner called an end to her fight. 

Rest peacefully, Cora.  The love for you is immeasurable.

Oh, no . . . Paige, I'm sorry to hear this news.  Cora was a beautiful girl -- what a lovely photo.  Sending my condolences to you and everyone in Cora's family -- the humans and the other dogs who will mourn her loss.

Run free, pretty girl.  You're strong and healthy again, and you'll have lots of special companions at the Bridge.

Billy, Muffin & Foxy were waiting for her -- along with a friend named Magnum (where I learned to LOVE dobies!!) and several of Magnum's bunny friends!! (Olivia and Wildflower at least!) just to let Cora see -- there are surprising things beyond Rainbow Bridge -- and it's ALL good!!  And such a good place to wait!

My sympathies and prayers and good thots for you, Paige and Cora's family.
