Thanks to all of you for your love and support.  This is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.

Today would have been Mike's 34th birthday.  I'm guessing that God really wanted another vocalist for the Choir.  It's that or figure that He has a really sick and twisted sense of humor and I'm gonna go with the former.

Here is a link for Mike's band.  They set up a pretty cool tribute to him on their website.

Wow Glenda- that is a wonderful and touching tribute. Mike clearly touched many lives and I might be too old to say this now but he was one hot looking guy and I even like their music. I'm still struggling to grasp what this must be like for you and those who love him and my heart continues to ache for you. I do believe that God has a special plan for him and that Mike will never be far from your side. (((Hugs)))

Very nice tribute, he was a talented young man.

Heaven definately has one more vocal in the choir.  A very cool dude it seems, too.  I can only hope that because of our circle, some how, some way...he can meet my very cool brother who is up there painting murals while listening to Jimi Hendrix.  My brother, David would be very impressed with your Michael.

    Happy Birthday Angel.

Thinking of our friend, Glenda, today as she says goodbye to her precious son.  I hope she feels all our hugs from afar.

Oh my gosh Glenda,,,I can't believe how life takes these horrible turns...... I'm so sorry to read about the death of your son.  May he rest in peace!

I didn't see any of this at first, just a little message that you were attending the funeral on FB today...came searching for the original post...I'm so sorry that I missed it and am just getting to extend my very sincere sympathy.

We never do know exactly what life has in store for us!

I felt those hugs and I thank each and every one of you for them.  And for the beautiful peace plant.  I will cherish that plant.

I did NOT say goodbye to my son.  The love and the bond we shared, well, nothing can break that.  Mike will no longer be in our lives, but he'll live forever in our hearts, and that bond will live as long as I do.

     Thank you all.

So, true.  Goodbye is only to this world, but never in the heart.  It's only a change of worlds, and we'll meet again.
