    Thanks so much everyone! Keep 'em coming. They've been giving him water in small amounts (he wants to chug and then he vomits) and small amounts of rice and chicken. Does it matter if it's brown rice? That's all she had and he seems to like it. So he is eating a bit finally.

    He got up to greet us today and his tail was wagging - an improvement from yesterday! I gave him lots of lovin' and he tried to convince me to let him outside. Smile

    She said that they get some test results back tomorrow, but I won't see them again until next Wednesday.

    Still sending Buddy good healing vibes!

    I make brown rice for Marley and feed it in small quantities (since I read that dogs dont really need carbs in their diet) but its much healthier to feed than white rice.

    ETA: when our dogs used to have an upset stomach, we would feed them a bland diet of rice, boiled hamburger and cottage cheese. Worked every time

       White rice is more digestible, so it's probably better for Buddy until his stomach is more settled. I home cook Jessie's diet and I use three parts water to one part white rice and cook it until it's very soft.

      Sending healing vibes for the sweet guy; I hope the test results don't show anything serious.

    Thanks so much, everyone! Luckily it was NOT blasto. They don't know exactly what happened, but somehow he got an infection in his chest cavity. He's still slowly getting better. He was VEWWY happy to see all the people come over for the Christmas party last night. Smile

    Rah... I never use brown rice cos it is so hard to digest but white cooed w tons of waater
