Thanks everyone--will post an update when I hear from Dr. Katie. Lori, he's going to be over on the East Bay side--I drop him off first thing tomorrow morning. He practiced wearing his donut collar tonight (is that what it's called? the one that can be used in place of one of the cone thingies). He wasn't even phased by it. That's my big boy.

Sinbad -- milk this for all it's worth, Boy -- sad eyes + a Bite Not Collar oughta get you all kinds of goodies!!! But nothing after midnight tonight till after surgery tomorrow!! LOL  *hugs*

Give Sinbad a kiss on his forehead for me before you drop him off.  I'm so proud of him already. :)

Sending tons of healing vibes for Sinbad.  So glad it's all done and that he's home or almost.  All my pups send him lots of slobbery kisses.

Today has gone well. He has rested most of the day and doesn't seem to be in much pain. (He does get pain meds for a couple days.) The sutures look good. He's being silly right now because it's raining and you know you can't pee in the rain! Thanks for all your good thoughts for the big boy.

Grady understands, Sinbad.  Peeing in the rain just isn't possible.  Silly boys. I'm glad he seems to be comfortable.  Please give him some gentle rubs from me.

So glad to hear the good report on the big boy.  Get better fast Sinbad.

Sorry...so off topic:  But, you have a "Pretzel?!"  My very first ever dog was named Pretzel.  Pretzel Pizza to be precise.    I was 5 years old, and my Mom let me name the family pet.  LOL

I'm glad to hear that the surgery went well and that Sinbad is resting comfortably at home (despite a bladder that may be getting uncomfortably full!)  Give him some gentle ear rubs from me!

So happy to hear the surgery went well for Sinbad.  I know how scarey these things can be.  Now he just has to relax, heal and get spoiled spoiled spoiled!
