I tried to post from home last night but couldnt get there.....

Healthy baby boy was born at 8:33 pm March 10. He is 8lbs 11oz and 20 1/2" long.

His momma says he has a head full of gorgeous hair!!! They whole family is excited that he was born yesterday as that was the birthdate of a dearly loved but deceased grandfather.

I will withhold his name and pictures until his Mom and Dad are official or until they give me permission to do so.

Whooopeee! He took his sweet time but according to Mom and Dad well worth the wait!

Havent spoken with them yet just getting bulk text messages, but everyone seems to be happy and healthy.

The baby momma will sign the paper, (prayers please) in 5 days.

Cant tell you guys how appreciative she will be to know you have had them in your thought and prayers.

Wonderful to hear that all went well and baby and birth mom are ok. I know it must be rather a stressful time for everyone in these situations and I hope everything goes as planned.

The state laws require that the birth mother have either 5 or 10 days to change her mind basically. The baby momma wanted to have no waiting period but the state requires that she be given at least 5 days to decide whether she wants to change her mind about the adoption. I dont think there will be a problem but my friends know that there is always that possibility. We have actually a co worker that this did happen to. The birth mothers family talked her into not giving the child up. It was sad. In this situation things have been very different and open unlike most that I have seen. I think all states have different rules and if I am not mistaken if a child is going from one state to another then there is a longer waiting period. Not the case here. So we just keep those prayers and vibes going and once that period of time is over he will officially be a part of their family.

Today at 4:30 is the official deadline for this little family. If you would please keep them in your thoughts! She said that he is very healthy and beautiful. 1st doctor appt was Monday got thru with flying colors.

I spoke with my friend yesterday! They are now officially a family of 3 humans and 2 furr babies Party!!!

Mom, Dad, MAVERICK, Bear and Chloe

They have been very busy with visitors but yesterday most of the visitors have left and Mom and Baby had some alone time which she was enjoying very much.

The Baby momma has gone back to work, she is healthy and happy. She is doing well both physically and emotionally. They are keeping close touch with each other as they formed a very special bond. In time, soon I hope, Mom will update her blog and tell this very special story. When she does I will have to share it with all of you. The spirit of this very special story will warm even the coldest heart.

Thanks to you all for keeping them in your prayers and thoughts.
