My aunt got diagnosed with Breast Cancer

She has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. And scheduled to go in for surgery on the 28th. The doctors are hoping they caught it early enough.

We never got along. We're not close. In fact I don't like her very much. However she is my mom's sister, and my mom is worried sick about her.

So if you guys could spare some good surgery and chemo vibes please. Thanks.

Good thots and prayers -- DO tell your Mom you asked us. Sometimes you can't know how important stuff like that is when you need something to grab onto. Good thots and prayers not just for your Aunt, but your Mom and your whole family (who all have to cope).

Thanks everyone. My mom will be at my house on the day of the surgery so she won't be able to be there for my aunt in person. But I know she'll be thinking about her all day.

Good thoughts from here as well. I know your Mom will be worried. Do tell her that we will all be thinking of her and your aunt. Strength comes in numbers.
