SIDS: Prayers Needed!

I just found out this afternoon a family that is very close to my family just lost their baby girl to SIDS. She was the parents first born, and she was a little over a month old. She was a perfectly healthy, gorgeous baby girl. They are- to say the least- destroyed. Prayers for this family are greatly appreciated. The whole situation is just so sad, I don't know what else to say...it's all so unreal.

How sad, I am so sorry! We went through this a few years ago with a couple that we work with. My prayers are with this family. Although it is no consulation now, a sweet angel will cross the bridge to give angel kisses to our furr babies

How terribly sad ... SIDS is just so awful .... my thots and prayers are surely with them.

I am so so sorry. I won't even pretend that I can imagine what they must be going through.... my brain won't let me comprehend it. They will be in my thoughts.

Thoughts and (((hugs))) to the entire family. SIDS is one of the most senseless things we've encountered.

That is so true, Stephanie. Your friends will most likely reach a place where they start blaming themselves-"If only I had checked on her earlier...", thinks like that. They'll debate it with you, but keep telling them they did nothing wrong, etc. Even if they don't seem to be comprehending what you're saying, they are. (((hugs))) for you, too.

To be honest, terrible. They're not doing good at all. I don't think there's anything to help either, just let time heal what it can.
