• Please keep Spencer in your thoughts kaf Posted : 3/6/2007 8:49:47 PM I know I havent posted in a while but my friends cat Spencer is not doing so well, and is very sick.  He is in the ICU at UPenn.  They removed a mass over the weekend, that turned out to be cancer. I dont think they know if they got all the cancer or not. He is still in the hospital due to complications, I know that he has fluid on his chest, but Im not sure of the rest.  All I know is that she is very worried and unsure about what to do.  Please keep him in mind if you have a moment to spare, he is a great kitty, I really hope he can pull through all of this. • jessies_mom Posted : 3/7/2007 4:11:18 PM    Sending healing thoughts and prayers for Spencer; I hope he recovers and lives many more happy years. One of our cats, Weasel, had his left hind leg amputated about 6 years ago because he had a tumor in one of the bones. He has been healthy since that time without any signs of the cancer returning. UPenn staff is wonderful, they saved my neice's young cat -- against all odds.
