I personally want to thank everyone who posts in this section. When I have been in need I have found this place to bring so much comfort. People may not think that it is of much importance but with every response I have ever received, the pain in my heart seems to lighten.
For those who don't send prayers, their well wishes and cyber hugs mean so much.
I hope that people on here will take a look at this section atleast once a day and offer up a hug or whatever.
God knows we all need comfort every now and then and there is no better place then here.

I'm very grateful for this section of the forum too and I try to check it each time I'm on, but sometimes I forget. It's nice to have a place to ask for help, prayers, or just share some of life's struggles.

Yes, to what Lena said. I don't come in here often & aske for help even less but when I do, I feel so much stronger by the well wishes from fellow i-doggers.

I agree that this section is a valuable part of the forum. Even if I don't make an actual post to a particular thread, I send silent prayers and/or wishes just by having read the original post. For some reason, for me it feels a bit easier asking for thoughts and prayers here than it does to someone in person. I think it's because I know that the general sentiment here is a supportive, compassionate one (versus asking my office to keep someone in their prayers, for example. That would feel strange for me to do). I'm very grateful for the kind words people have posted in response to anything I've mentioned here!

I also agree, this is a beneficial part of the forum. When all else seems to be failing, asking for prayer or good vibes/thoughts gives us hope and peace of mind. And as Tracy said, if I don't post after reading, I still send good vibes and prayers to the OP.

Thanks to all that have responded by posting and all that have sent up those silent prayers.

I'm always so grateful for the good wishes I get. And, I do care about the people here and if something is going on and I can "help" in some way I like to.

It's nice to know that even though most of us are just "cyberfriends" that we have a special bond through our dogs and through our daily or occasional postings. I especially feel that since you took the time to say thank you. You are very special, Lena.

I learned forever ago that to have a friend you must *be* a friend. Lena's the one who got them to START this section ... and over and over she's been a prayer warrioer for so many of us, so thank *you* Lena. Sometimes this little corner just makes it a bit easier to reach out ... or to lift up someone else. I think it is such a good way of keeping ourselves aware of each other ... it adds that 'balance' to life and makes it so much more rich.
