    Need healing prayers

I need some serious healing vibes.  Today me and my mother were standing and talking inside of a local shop (we were meating for lunch).  Suddenly she collapsed to the ground and was shaking.  We called 911 and now she is in the hospital.  I have been there all day since she was brought in, and just came home to take care of the animals quick.

This is probably the scariest thing that has ever happened to me.  Watching my own mother collapse was terrible.

Can i please get some good vibes as i head back to the hospital.

    Thanks for the vibes.

I just got back from the hospital, she is doing ebtter but the doctors have no idea what happened.  Every now and then a part of her body goes numb and she has trouble moving that part.  I can only hope that they find the problem.

Good thoughts and prayers coming your way, Brain.  Please keep us posted on how  your mom is doing. It really is very scary not knowing what's going on.

I get a very similar symptom as part of my migraine aura, hope it's something relatively simple with her too.

I'm praying for you and your family.

I can only imagine how frightening that must've been and how worried you must still be.  Try to rest knowing she's being watched closely at the hospital and hopefully they'll be able to pinpoint what the problem is.  She's in good hands and resting, so try to get some rest yourself.  She'll need you to be strong.  Sending prayers and healing thoughts your way.

I guess we are lucky, most of the test results are back and she is in good health.  We are waiting on an MRI and then, if it is all good, she should be able to come home.

    Thanks for the prayers everyone[:)]

    Just a little update.

The doctor came in and gave us the news.  She has some issues with her heart that caused a blood clot, which caused a small stroke.  Pretty scary stuff.  Luckily it is easily fixable, and it is a very minor operation.  She was allowed to leave the hospital, but has to be on medication until she has it fixed.

Kinda bitter-sweet news, she is okay, but the heart issue is a little unsettling.

I know this must be scary to you and your mom, but honestly this is a blessing in disguise.  It's the warning that may ultimately save her life and that's a really great thing.  Many people get signs or symptoms (mini-strokes or heart attacks) and ignore them.  This one was serious enough that it couldn't be ignored.   I'm guessing they've put her on blood thinners until they can do surgery, but it sounds like they feel safe doing that, so try not to worry.  I know it's easier said than done, but she's probably worried enough for the both of you.

We just want her to take it easy until she has it fixed.  My dad will be with her at the house all the time, he is lucky enough that he can work from home if he needs too.  I will visit pretty often and deliver meals and stuff so she doesnt have to worry about cooking, and my brothers are both doing their part.

My house is the closest to my parents' so i can help whenever she needs it.  I think we were very lucky, 2 minutes before she collapsed she was on C-470 (highway) heading to meet me.  This could have been very tragic.  My mom believes it was her late father watching out for her, making sure she was okay.[:)]

She's blessed to have all of you looking after her and I'm sure she knows that.  The thought that this might've happened on the highway sort of takes your breath away, but the thought that her late father was looking after her is very comforting.  My dad passed away this past January and there are many times I feel him in my life.  I'm sure you know this, but we really need to appreciate every minute with those we love.  It sounds like you're being a great source of support though and I'm sure she appreciates it.  Good for you!!
