I've got Max for the next week while his family is out of town. They finished chemo this past week and decided to take a trip to Vegas. She sounds a lot better then the last time I spoke to her. Now we just wait and see if the treatment helped at all..
Alex and I have been talking and he's agreed that if things go down hill with Max's family, we'll take him in. (The owners have approached me about this when everything started at the beginning of summer). At this moment in time, I can't have a 6th dog, but if Dipstick passes on and Max needs a home, Alex has agreed to let me keep him. So no matter what happens, Max won't be left to fend for himself (figure of speech). If it does come down to Max needed a new home, I'll foster him until I find the perfect family for him.
