    I just emailed Bev, Goliath's new mom, I told her that we were sending her special healing vibes and prayers.  She asked me to thank everyone.  I have suggested that she might like pop in and meet some of these wonderful I-dog folks that there would be lots of support here.  She said when she was home, and could sit down to the computer she would do so.  I do have her info if anyone would like to help her out or drop her a line, she has given me permission to share it.  You guys Rock by the way!

    Received an update from Goliath's mom Friday evening just getting on the computer this morning;

    Everyone settled  for a couple hours for the evening.  All fed, watered and did some runs outside. I will check the site out tonight.  I understand totally that scattered Friday afternoon feeling. I really should be sleeping on the couch while my boys are resting.. I will keep everyone posted.  He knows he has a problem.. if he starts to move too fast or if he starts to run a little he backs off.. sad to see that in a one year old.  My Vet is going to call the Vet who did surgery and also the Shelter.. just to say.. HEY... what the heck happened..and ya know, the shelter is supposed to protect those animals.. well you know where he is going with that.  Hoping and praying for the best.

    Goliath we are still sending you good healing vibes today!

    From Bev this morning after I told her sorry I hadnt checked on them this weekend;

    No problem.  I wasn't on the computer as much as usual.  Goliath has a Vet appointment today at 5;30.  I did stop and get his sedation meds on Saturday and the Vet came out to take a look.  He said that he feels the sac will slowly shrink and surgery may not be necessary.  I have been very watchful of Goliath and I am not allowing him to run, just walk on the leash.  He is starting to feel better so he has lots more energy than he had before.
    My 9 year old Newf Captain had a very scary episode on Saturday.  He lost strength and looked like he was going to pass out, wobbled and weaved and fell to the floor.  He looked like someone who was dizzy and ready to pass out.  It took about 3 hours to get him back to normal and after that he seemed to be exhausted. He did drink water about 15 minutes into the episode and about 45 minutes into it I had macaroni and cheese that I gave him.. just small bites of it. he ate it like he was starved.. after that he started to rally. He acted almost like a diabetic. sigh!   The emergency vet said there is a dog flu?? going around and that I should get him checked out.  Of course that is what I will do... He is moving around showing no signs of problems this morning.  I will make his appointment tonight while I am at the vet, I am sure they will see him in a couple of days.

    Sounds like maybe Captain could use some good vibes today as well!   Looks like Goliath is feeling better, she will keep us posted.

      Has he had his blood pressure checked regularly; those are symptoms of low blood pressure. I'm so glad Goliath is feeling better; sending healing vibes for him and Captain.

    There is some good news on Goliath today.   Updated on Vet's appt last night.

    Goliath's swelling is about 75% down!!  The vet felt a lump in the sac.. he was not sure if it is a fibroid or a testicle.  He said he would like to wait for the additional 3 weeks to see what dissolves on its own.  Goliath seems to be handling all of this pretty well.
    I am so very worried about my older boy. He is my "boyfriend".. he isn't himself, very quiet and staying to himself.  I had to seek him out last night.  He went downstairs in the bar area to sit by himself.  It could be combination of new member of family and/or his health.  He was responsive to me and seemed happy that I came to find him.
    Sure would love to know what he is thinking!
    Continued good vibes for Bev and her boys!!!

    Just checked in with Bev.   Both boys seem to be doing better each day.   She said Goliath is feeling much better and Captain is back to waggin his tail :)   Of course we know how strong those IDog vibes are so keep them on your list a little longer.   Bev has been getting some good tips from our own Callie so she is feeling more encouraged herself.  I know she appreciates the support.

    You guys are the best!

    she's got some pretty huge vet bills to pay to foot the bill on the shelter and vet's screw up.  *sigh*  Nice lady!
