Wiley needs thoughts and prayers.

    Wiley needs thoughts and prayers.

Wiley is my sister in law's little Chihuahua. He was a rescue as a senior and he's the sweetest thing. I love the little guy! Blair (SIL) took him to the vet for what was thought to be an infection in a tooth and now they believe it is actually bone cancer in the jaw. Very hard news as so many of you know first hand and the rest of us can only imagine. He's going to a specialist to confirm the diagnosis and to discuss treatment plans.

Good thoughts for Wiley and for his mom, Blair. She is heartbroken :(

And when those little seniors crawl into your heart they do SUCH a good job of it.  Wiley's got his own little yellow stickie on my printer.  Pass on our prayers & good thots please!

Poor little guy; I'm so sorry. I'll be sending no cancer vibes his way.

An unfortunate Wiley update. The growth on his jaw is huge now.. It has displaced his teeth and causes them to bleed. It looks like he has a buckeye nut in thete. He is losing control of his bladder and bowels. Hides at night and vomits after eating. I think his time is coming...

Oh, this is sad news. Sending positive thoughts and prayers for a gentle and peaceful crossing.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry.  Will keep lifting them up -- it's a difficult decision to make and difficult to sort out what you're doing for him vs. his family.  He's still on my printer sticky -- I'm glad you updated.  I was about to email and ask.

It's a really, really sad situation. When he gets too excited now he will vomit. It also seems like the tumor is really bugging him. He can't fully close his mouth and he is always trying to push it away with his tongue and work his jaw/chew it away to no avail, obviously. On the bright side they brought one of SIL's mom's Chihuahuas over and Wiley is just loving having Butters there. It has put a little spark back in his life. They are holding off returning Butters, because Wiley is just so smitten with his friend in his twilight.

I am so sorry about Wiley.  Makes me wonder why these innocent little dogs have to suffer like that.  Hugs for the little guy from me and Ava.

I'm so glad Wiley is enjoying Butters.  Thanks again for the update.

That is so wonderful that he is enjoying some time with Butters. So sad though that this is happening to him. My gosh, the picture you included in the original post....what a cutie.
