Feedback on Automatic Dog Fetch Toys

 I have GoDogGo and I like it, but I've never used the Fetchtastic.  Also, my dog is very motivated, and learns quickly. 

Spiritdogs,

 Do you know of any standards or regulations related to dog toys, especially automatic fetch machine dog toys?  I just want to make sure the companies are required to follow some sort of safety guidelines before I put my Jingle Belle in the vicinity of the device.

Godoggo

My sister had a GoDogGo which she gifted to me for two reasons.... she lost the power supply (and GoDogGo folks referred me to a broker to buy a new one), and also because her dog, an Akita mix, learned how to stand immediately in front of the launcher and catch the balls as soon as they shot out (defeating the purpose of the launcher). 

No idea about the Fetchtastic, although it looks pretty much the same (?)

I am an engineering student and have decided to design and build a new autonomous dog play device involving fetching for my senior design project.
