Everything Gina said.... Wow, I'm so sad for you.  Glad you have eachother together to support eachother, and especially your dad.  I am so, so sorry.  All my best thoughts to you during this week, and especially the days and weeks beyond, when things are allegedly "back to normal", yet they won't be.  More hugs, extra tissues, and a tight hand to hold when you need it.

Dawn, I am so very sorry.  Please know we continue to keep you in our thoughts and hearts.

Dawn, I'm so sorry to hear you lost your mother.  I've been in the same boat with my father when he died of cancer.  I remember being in the room in the end and it was just so difficult.

Just know you have all my thoughts and prayers with you during this tough time.  Hang in there.

Dawn, I'm late sending my condolences and words of support, but I do hope you are doing okay now that you're with the rest of your family.  My mother lives 3,000 miles away (along with every other family member and friend who means the most to me), and what you described is something I fear.  Not being able to get home in time for an emergency is awful.  My mom had emergency surgery last fall to remove several inches of her colon, and I remember what an emotional roller-coaster it was.  I can't imagine the added grief you're dealing with, especially your siblings and Dad who were witnessing everything.  My heart goes out to all of you at this horribly sad time. 

Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family.  I know this weekend (and the weeks and months that follow) will be very difficult -- take care.

Dawn you have been on my heart ALL week -- and now that I really know what the nightmare was, gosh I am so very very sorry.  But like I said -- call me ANY time even if it's just to talk, cry or pray or ANYTHING...

Most of us are mature enough to know how difficult aging parents can be -- we're here for you and I hope in sharing, as Gina said so well, that we can help support you even just a bit.

Dawn, I'm just now seeing this.  I'm speachless.  My heart is with you.  I can't imagine your nightmare.  I would do anything to lessen your pain.  Been there & it just stinks.  ((comforting hugs))
